Alexis Texas at Adam & Eve makes great sense

Porn is one of those careers in which performers make less money in their final years than in their first. It is for this reason that the recent contract Adam & Eve awarded Alexis Texas means both recognition and stability. Texas is really good at what she does on screen, and she is great engaging with fans when only camera phones are present.

Texas has always been in demand, but the year-long exclusive contract guarantees both salary and exposure, as Texas will join A & E’s other contract performer, Teagan Presley, at conventions, store signings, and dance appearances.

All major companies have ended, curtailed, or otherwise “redefined” their contract rosters in the past few years, with both Vivid and Hustler jettisoning their programs and Digital Playground and Wicked quietly not renewing contracts.

Texas will be shooting her first Adam & Eve movie under her contract this month. Otherwise, no one is telling how much the contract is worth or how many movies it entails. Traditional porn contracts usually include a monthly check, air fare, travel accommodations, and a daily stipend when on location.

In a press release, Adam & Eve executive Bob Christian stated that “Texas brings a new sexuality to Adam & Eve.” While Texas is one of the sexiest people I have ever met, Christian is clearly undervaluing the low-pile carpeting in Adam & Eve’s Hillsborough, NC corporate headquarters.

Adam & Eve has been home to the likes of Carmen Luvana, Ava Rose, Bree Olson, and Alexis Ford over the years, but as Texas and Presley are also friends (their “T&A” strip show will be coming to six cities this fall and winter), this contract sounds like a a good gig.
