Moments ago Ashley Fires won the 2009 Miss XBiz Summer Forum Pageant by dancing whilst twirling flaming batons barefoot. Fires can do everything porn stars can do, but this fire twirling is something she can really fall back on.
Several women competed, such as GramPonante.com favorites Joanna Angel (pole dance to AC/DC), Kagney Linn Karter (pole dance dressed as “Hee Haw” character), and Lexi “Perfect Storm” Love (said she liked peaches), but none risked her life (and mine) as provocatively as Fires.
In a tearful changing of the guard (I am not creative enough to think of something clever to accompany “passing of the baton”), Miss XBiz ’08 Nikki Jayne welcomed Fires to a year of public appearances, humanitarian spokesmodeling, and ministering to lepers and the needy as Gertrude Stein (center) sang “I Am Woman.”
