Have you ever seen Carmen Luvana do anything bad? I haven’t.
I assume she runs a red light here and there, maybe even fails to recycle, but she is such a dependable performer, even in efforts like Jane Blond: DD7 which aims high but doesn’t quite get the balance right between spoof and porn film.
A spoof requires acting and a porn film requires Luvana, who more than rises to the challenge of the latter. But she acts about as well as I dress – you applaud the effort but it’s tough to watch.
People keep expecting Luvana to be something she isn’t, and she gives the old college try in every movie she’s made for which dialogue is required. But Luvana is a gazelle, you directors, and you keep trying to make her an ibex.
