Two World Wars started and lost. A fascination with poo and Rammstein. Why? Because the German word for “adult entertainment” is unpronounceable except to Germans: Erwachsenenunterhaltung.
American porn luminaries Madison Young and Thomas Roche are the only animated living things featured in this “Max Headroom”-esque video on online porn by the site Elektrischer Reporter. They are joined by me, looking just a bit like a bloated corpse who happened to float by the studio that day.
Because I don’t understand German, I spent more time looking at the crazy images chosen to aid the narrative, and noticed, too, that the Americans appeared like they were on speed compared with the German talking heads.
I can’t begin to translate the report (though the title asks if there is anything new in the world of porn), which otherwise looks skillfully and professionally produced. But now I know why David Hasselhoff is such a star over there.
