After enough porn consumption (or living, whichever comes first), you realize there’s a difference between beautiful and sexy. In porn, sometimes the camera, the script, or the director can drain the sexy away, leaving just attractive people posing on a boxcover.
That is why it’s so much fun to be backstage on a porn set, because it’s there that sexy women are the people all their friends know, their mail carriers have inappropriate feelings toward, and their boyfriends are insanely jealous of. No script or ridiculous costume is going to get in the way.
This Spring my friend Gazzman shot a movie in Italy called “Young Harlots in Venice” and the set photographer was the British Joby Rawlins. These pictures—of Samantha BVentley, Mira, Coco, and Hennessy—are great examples of why these women got the job, and the sort of excitement producers hope they generate in the movie.
Granted some of these photos are staged, but all of them capture the relaxed atmosphere of Sexy Pornstresses at Rest.
