Who knew invasions of privacy could be so hot (well, I guess we all did) and technologically gratifying?
Wicked mainstay and all around amiable technophile Kirsten Price stopped by G4TV to help its middle-aged staff explore the ins and outs of Microsoft’s Kinect accessory for the XBox 360. The Kinect, you see, aids gamers in wirelessly interacting with both the game system and other players.
How does it do this? Well, by filling your house with lasers and monitoring your every move with cameras. Also: it tattoos the USA PATRIOT Act in either a sleeve or tramp stamp formation on your person.
In this video that is both funny and informative, Price shows what the Kinect can and cannot see, and we find that, unless there’s a hack available, we won’t be seeing the Kinect at the TSA booth anytime soon.
