With its laugh track and insistence on the participation of James Bartholet, “Bradys/Partridge” signals the beginning of a porn era that not only mirrors but also one-ups the television of the late 70’s and early 80’s, in which Paul Lynde and Charles Nelson Reilly showed up everywhere but no one knew why.
Studio: X-Play

With such a high concept, it is difficult to keep large portions of the cast of “The Bradys Meet the Partridge Family” from just standing around while other people have sex. But that, and a certain amount of over- and/or underemoting common to porn movies, are the only flaws in this otherwise blondetastic parody video.
The Brady parents cancel Marcia’s subscription to the Keith Partridge fan club when her grades begin slipping. Concerned that this sort of thing might negatively affect his image, Keith (Nick Manning) reaches out to Marcia (Lexi Belle) personally.
This is one of those parodies in which the superiority of the casting overwhelms the occasional tiredness of the plot of parodies in general. Nick Manning is always fun to watch, if anything because what he’d say on his own would be better than the scripted lines he wouldn’t deliver anyway. And Lexi Belle is one of those performers whose cuteness transcends her porniness. Not only that, but her 70’s costume blends right in with her bedding.
Other standouts in the cast are Dylan Riley as the deliciously muffin-toppy Jan and Kacey Jordan as the scene-stealing Cindy. Kagney Linn Karter also makes a special appearance as the A&R rep for the B-story’s (yes, there is even a B story) Johnny Bravo.
While this is not the best of X-Play’s parodies, it is “Not the” worst, either, and even their lesser efforts seem to be a cut above most porn fare, so “Bradys/Partridge” is a worthwhile purchase if you’d like to see the KLK, Lexi Belle, and Shawna Lenee in one movie.
And if you’re still unsure, consider the final scene, which features Keith Partridge crooning “Like a prince that found a shiny shoe/I never would get over you” to a come-soaked Marcia: that will be one of 2010’s enduring pornic moments.

I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed with the faithfulness and quality of those sets…but where the hell is Tiger’s doghouse?!?
Also, and maybe I’m just a sicko, but I’d rather have seen more off-the-beaten track (if not entirely taboo) pairings, like Mrs. Brady and Alice, or the Brady Girls tripling up on Sam the Butcher.
If X-Play went gay, they could have a Joe Namath/Davy Jones hookup
