The Swingers Club Miami Velvet threw a benefit in support of Kimora Klein (“the half-Asian cutie with the big black booty”), a porn performer and lifestyle scenester who incurred injuries and even huger medical bills in a January car accident.
Industry legend Sara Jay, speaking on behalf of Kimora’s friends who organized the benefit, explains, “We are happy to do what ever we can to help Kimora with her escalating medical bills and we appreciate the support of Miami Velvet, other event sponsors and those who have already donated through HelpKimora.com.”
“We created HelpKimora.com to provide a way for Kimora’s friends and fans to stay up-to-date on her progress, from her stay in the hospital, to the rehabilitation center and finally to her full recovery,” said MILF porn star Karen Kougar. “Donations can be made through the web site and there is a form available there for Kimora’s fans to communicate with her.”
There are four major porn centers in the United States. I am lucky to live in the most lively, and it’s a short hop to Las Vegas and Phoenix, where many porn performers live and work, especially on the web. Florida is also a major hub, and it is interesting to see that cast of characters, who are able to make a better living from strip clubs and swinger establishments than their Porn Valley counterparts, even if video celebrity is not as possible.
Kimora’s benefit was held at the “revolutionary” swinger’s club Miami Velvet. One of the differences in the culture of Miami and Los Angeles is that L.A.’s swinger community is a little more guarded (because they don’t want TMZ showing up), whereas Miami’s is more out in the open. Maybe these women don’t look like Porn Valley’s Size Zero spinnerwraiths, but they sure look fun.
Attendees at Kimora’s event who are familiar to regular readers of this site include Sara Jay, Trina Michaels, and Karen Kougar. Klein, 21, who had planned to attend this year’s AVN Expo starting January 7, was in a wreck on January 5 that resulted in massive pelvic damage and a jaw rewiring.
