Porn emerges in Ca. Governor’s race – finally

Meg Whitman turned eBay into a porn site, charges her Republican opponent in the California Governor’s race.

Steve Poizner and Whitman are running neck and neck for the Republican nomination to succeed Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“Meg Whitman. Bad Judgment. Wrong values” says the ad, which allows that Whitman banned art fraud and gun sales on eBay, but created a separate site for pornography.

eBay’s Adult-oriented site, which is nestled in its Everything Else->Adults Only section, is “one of the biggest sites on the Internet,” says the Poizner ad.

Poizner, of course, founded SnapTrack, a company that developed GPS technology for cellphones and which Poizner sold to Qualcom for $1 billion. Among the biggest users of GPS cellphone technology? Hookers. Poizner was also his fraternity president at the University of Texas. Major fraternity purchases in Texas? Mexican hookers.

Seems like a very silly thing to impugn Whitman for harboring an “Adults Only” section. It would take very little to paint Poizner with the same brush. No one makes it out of the Republic of Texas without serious morals charges.

I wish Larry Flynt were running again.
