YouTube is a hell of a drug. I’ll post a wholesome porn star interview up there and, a week later, will feel positively sordid after reading the comments. It makes me realize that I live in a sheltered, Candyland world here in Porn Valley, but out there it’s dirty.
A woman named Mallory Rae Murphy turns 22—so says the Internet Adult Film Database—this week. A few years ago she claimed to have lost her virginity on camera. Prior to that, she says in a video I shot at the Venetian Hotel in 2010, she never went past third base.
“I’m Jewish,” she said, “so I’d give a blowjob on holidays or special occasions…The vag was not touched.”
If you wonder what set of circumstances must have been in place to make Murphy’s blessed event happen on camera rather than the sanctity of, say, a Vagabond Inn after prom, maybe you should stop tying your mind in knots and doubt the whole story.

California-by-way-of Colorado surfer girl Casey Parker was a contract girl for Shane’s World several years ago, back when many companies had contract stars. Parker, who turns 27 this week, was a lot of fun. I interviewed her at some of my favorite Porn Valley destinations.
Parker has left the porn industry and, as Squeeze says, lives another life in some fantastic place.

I met Briana Banks on a Red Light District shoot directed by Manuel Ferrara. Banks was then a Vivid Girl and that company and Red Light were co-producing the movie. Also on set was Rita Faltoyano. It was my first time in the company of so many European porn stars (Banks is German, Faltoyano is Spanish, and Ferrara is French), and I found Banks, who this week is 34, to be like a Wagnerian Valkyrie.
She did not say “Valhalla, I am coming” for me, and I guess I understand. These people aren’t trained monkeys to perform for our benefit.

Annabel Chong turns 41 this week. Then a gender studies student at USC, Chong in 1995 was the star of “The World’s Biggest Gang Bang” and was subsequently featured in the Sundance documentary “Sex: The Annabel Chong Story.”
Chong’s story is fascinating. She is candid about past sexual abuse (as is former porn star Satine Phoenix, who turns 33 this week) and was a trailblazer in wedding academia to porn; we can write scholarly treatises about pornography until our fingers fall off, but Chong dove right in, paving the way for porny academics like Lorelei Lee.
I love this picture of Chong with Ron Jeremy. She looks like everything I liked about the 1990s.

Finally, Alexis Texas turns 28 this week. The Adam & Eve contract performer is, to me, a perfect specimen of pornitude at a perfect age. She doesn’t blush, she doesn’t bite her finger coyly, she isn’t a quivering wraithlike thing—she’s present, and in it to win it.
