Same time last year: Incest and Peppermints edition

Notable events this week:

XBiz commissioned a firm to create the glossy State of the Industry: Researched And Revealed! pamphlet which also makes projections of the shape of things to come. Chapters deal with the problems posed by free content online, the dwindling DVD market, and the schism in the industry about what defines a MILF and a Cougar. I made that last part up.

Sponsors of the booklet include Internet Payment Solutions Providers, web design firms, and cam networks. I was not consulted for the survey. Had I been, I would have said that the biggest challenge facing the adult industry is the debate over milves and Cougars. This is, perhaps, why I was not consulted, because people are afraid of truth-tellers. In any case, you can have your own deluxe copy of the pamphlet for just $470.

Paul Little, aka Max Hardcore, reported to a processing facility in downtown Los Angeles yesterday to begin his 46-month federal prison sentence. He is appealing for a shorter term. He was hoping to be assigned to Lompoc, 150 miles north of Los Angeles between the majestic 101 freeway and the Sea. Beautiful country, but no country for holed men. I hope he gets out soon.

I reject the argument that Mr. Hardcore “makes the adult industry look bad.” The adult industry looks bad anyway; Hardcore just made the adult industry look bad differently.

The above image was sent to me anonymously by a person who notices that “Hauer” and “Whore” are not dissimilar. It is good to see that in times of injustice, Art survives.

Here are Nick Manning and Payton Leigh in This Ain’t the Partridge Family XXX. It was important that Keith Partridge break out of his slump by unloading on Shawna Lenee and Friends, but I wanted to see him fuck his mom. Maybe in a dream sequence? Or forced into it, like the way Linda Lovelace said she was?

Producers could have got around the inevitable ethical concerns by calling the movie This Ain’t Incest. Am I going to jail? For my thoughts?

January, as you know, is AVN month. With the upcoming return of the XBiz Forum next month, will February for the forseeable future be associated with XBiz? If AVN loses market share and falls by the wayside, will XBiz then set its sites on undercutting Black History Month?

In the Czech Republic, all you have to do to get two women to fellate you is to wear a shirt reading “Suck My Dick.” So why aren’t men doing this throughout the continent? Because many of them can’t afford shirts.
