There’s the porn parodies of shows you have watched, the parodies of the ones you’ve never seen, and now a parody of a show I’ve never heard of, and it’s really good.
Writer/director Mike Quasar and star Anthony Rosano (in a blonde wig) team up for “To Catch A Predator XXX.” From the plot I can tell the source material is infotainment masquerading as news, in which a telegenic journalist catches people in lies.
The plot here is that Rosano, as Chris Manson, traps cheating wives on camera and, since their lives are ruined anyway, why not have sex with the unpaid decoy (usually James Deen)?
Rosano’s deadpan delivery of Quasar’s very funny script, referencing everything from Ewoks to the Egg Council, is a perfect example of how to be clever and do a porn movie at the same time: use voiceovers judiciously and give small amounts of dialogue only to the people who can deliver it.
Rosano surprises Raylene, Mellanie Monroe, India Summer, and Julia Ann with lines like, “We’re doing a story on promiscuous wives who cheat on their husbands and prey on younger men…very lucky younger men.”
The women naturally choose to fuck the decoy and, in one inspired scene, Rosano tries the same roputine on his wife, grilling her about her shopping and berating her with chat transcripts.
“They didn’t have animal crackers?” he says. “This is America, right?”
Quasar, a veteran porn director, makes the sex look good, having cast only the choicest of milves. But it’s the great setups that really make “To Catch A Predator XXX” special. I’m not sure I even care to watch the original.

On the one hand that’s kind of awesome, but on the other hand it’s kind of creepy (which, I suppose, makes it all the more awesome in a way). If you’ve really never seen “To Catch a Predator”, it’s a Dateline NBC segment/spinoff where guys get busted on camera showing up to have sex with underage kids they met online. The “kids”, of course, are either NBC employees or law enforcement.
