Where have you gone, Kami Andrews?

I was looking through some old photos and found a few shots of Kami Andrews. She was great fun.

I don’t know about you, but I think it is easier to stay friends with people who are in closer proximity. When Kami left porn in 2007/2008 (very few people have an exact departure time), we quickly lost touch. The old phone numbers and e-mail addresses don’t work, her old site is down, and someone is squatting on “KamiAndrews.com.”

Last I knew, an ex of hers was trying to blackmail her, she was getting into Mixed Martial Arts, and there was a turkey in her back yard. By “turkey” in her “back yard” I actually mean there was a turkey in her back yard. In Pennsylvania.

Full disclosure: the past two “Where Are They Now” pieces I wrote ended in tragedy. Anastasia Blue committed suicide and Kiki D’aire, well, didn’t. (No, Kiki’s a great girl.)

But Kami Andrews will be different. She’s going to write in and say, “I’ve been here all the time, Grams, but I’ve been carrying you.”

  1. Anastasia Blue killed herself? That makes me really really sad. I never knew her, but she's one of my absolute favorite performers. Fuck.

    Kami Andrews is super cool but yeah, haven't seen or heard from her in a while. We chatted once or twice on the LiveJournal and I always enjoyed reading her posts. I hope she's doing well in whatever she's up to lately.

    And I have a feeling Kami is still being Kami on a smaller scale somewhere where it's Autumn.

  3. Kami was one of the most fun people on a set ever! Her old site included some of the funniest shit I've ever read… in the form of quotes she'd heard on porn sets. I think I was quoted once. Something like, "Don't touch my dick! You can touch my dick if you want to but not when I'm holding the camera." This biz needs more like Kami… to make it fun again.

    Truly flattered that I am remembered. I am living the civilian life, completely retired from porn and it's accessory careers. I am very happy and not dead 🙂 The thing with the boyfriend you posted had me remove myself from the internet as much as I possibly could and I did press charges.   9. Glad to know Kami is alive & well, even if she no longer performs. As a fan, she was one of my all-time faves. She may not have been as big a name as others, but I never doubted that she always gave 110% in everything she did. And brother, I’ll always remember how sexy as fuck she was when peeing on a “behind the scenes” clip.
