The amount of time this site has been down for its recent server move and transition to WordPress has pained me, and my spirits are only slightly lifted by the fact that I didn’t fire or levy a pay cut on employees or pay some Greek consortium upwards of $1.5 million to get my widgets just right.
There was no new car in the parking lot of Gram Ponante Towers, Speedway, Cow Palace, and Creamery to rub in the noses of hapless wage slaves, no exhortations to do more with less while I skimmed from the top, no affiliates short-changed, no checks bounced, no invoices ignored, no traffic endlessly passed between one crony and another to generate the aroma of legitimate visitors, and no justifying a low per-word rate by saying “Well why didn’t you peddle that Bridgette Kerkove story to the New York Times?”
Some of the images are gone, the gallery page needs to be rebuilt, there are permalinks out of order (but just copy and paste the link into the Search box and you’ll find the article), and there are a bunch of little design flaws that I’m slowly but surely fixing. That said, there is plenty of nudity. There will always be nudity, my friends.
Speaking of nudity and Bridgette Kerkove, here is a picture of Mrs. Kerkove that I took in the early years of this century. With her are Jesse Jane (two weeks after signing her Digital Playground contract), a Devil Woman, and someone who chose to wear clothes despite the company.
I am immensely grateful to Kylie Ireland, Eli Cross, Belial (the Dark Prince), and someone with the even more unlikely name of Lucky who made this server move possible.
