Rock, Stapp slap over cock flap

According to the company that seeks to distribute his allegedly-stolen sex tape, former Creed lead singer Scott Stapp has “nothing to be ashamed of.”

Red Light District’s David Joseph Giarusso spoke to KROQ in Los Angeles this morning, calling the tape, which Stapp says was stolen by a roadie, “pretty damn good.”

Giarusso was joined by his attorney, Ray, who occasionally interjected that Giarusso’s discussion of Stapp’s penis size was “only an opinion.”

Stapp and Kid Rock were taped having sex with four strippers in 1999. Giarusso, who also distributed Paris Hilton’s night-vision porn debut, One Night in Paris (it sold better than Pirates) confirmed that at one point Stapp looked at the camera and said, “It’s good to be king.”

We assume the Christian Stapp meant “… of the Jews.”

While Stapp, Kid Rock, and one of the women involved are suing to prevent the tape from seeing the light of day, Giarusso said that there would be no way Red Light would accept stolen property, and that he “(knew) (the roadie) didn’t steal the tape.”

In February, U.S. District Court Judge John Feikens granted Kid Rock a temporary restraining order preventing Red Light from showing a 40-second trailer on its site or otherwise publicizing the material. That is why Giarusso speaks of the tape only with an attorney present, and why Ray hastened to mention that KROQ disc jockeys Kevin and Bean initiated contact with Red Light, not the other way around.

According to Ray, both Giarusso and Stapp will be deposed later this month. Giarusso hopes to release the tape by the end of the year pending resolution of legal challenges.
