Here in suburbia, everyone wants a detox bed program. My buddy Dave got one, so I need one, too. It figures that now AIM Healthcare is soliciting cash for a detox bed program of its own when everybody knows the porn industry has no drug or alcohol problem.
Problems arise when a commodity is difficult to acquire.
This Saturday AIM will sponsor a benefit for its detox bed program (will the detoxers get to sleep in the lighthouse? That would be cool) featuring Kurt Lockwood’s new band, the Sex City Punks. “The drummer from my old band said we could crash at his detox bed after the show,” no one involved with Lockwood ever said.
The venue will be Hollywood’s Knitting Factory, and appearing with the Sex City Punks will be psychobilly band Nashville Pussy. Admission is $12. All proceeds will go to AIM Healthcare.
