Once, on a plane, I saw the Jamie Lee Curtis/Lindsey Lohan version of “Freaky Friday” and I thought Lindsey Lohan was really good. This was before her current turmoil.
But, just as I knew Drew Barrymore was going to be just fine when I saw her in “E.T.,” I offer this picture of the enchanting Scarlett Fay and the Pride of Carbondale, Nicole Ray, as Lindsey Lohan and whomever Nicole Ray was playing for that Hustler movie, as evidence that Lohan, too, will survive her tabloid woes.
Perhaps my logic is flawed. After all, my friend the director Richard Monfort died about a month after filming what would become “Hustler’s Untrue Hollywood Stories: Lindsey Lohan.” And not too long after that, there was a terrible earthquake somewhere.
Still, I think things will be fine as long as there are champagne glass-breasted 21-year-olds who’ll compare their nipples for me.
