Notice anything specifically not on view?
By comparison, both the Merchant-Ivory picture A Room with a View and the Roger Moore-era James Bond movie A View to a Kill have a view and a killing, respectively, on their posters. And I don’t believe that spelling out that sort of thing insults the audience’s intelligence.
I am a fan of Viv Thomas, and even though there are plenty of Europussies on view in this movie, I think he could have been a bit clearer in the boxcover. Perhaps Europeans are more sophisticated, what with their lung cancer and excellent cell phone reception.
And it’s not like Thomas would argue that actually having a pussy on view on the box would be too explicit; after all, he has a cock on it.
In our declining economy, we have to do all we can to pinch each penny. I suggest combining movies to rake in the bucks. I’m going to suggest this at AVN. For example, if you combined Pirates 2 and Barely Legal 83, you’d have Barely Pirates 166. I’m sure someone would buy that.
