So close to the Porn Valley mentality is the city of Tampa that a street bearing its name runs straight through Northridge.
That is why I pay close attention to both the local and national winners of Tampa’s NightMoves Awards, which in October celebrates its 17th anniversary.
Started as a show that honored local adult businesses like strip clubs, strippers, and escort services, the NightMoves Awards have grown to include California porn productions, which is fitting, because Florida acts as the primary farm system for Porn Valley talent (followed closely by Arizona, New York, and Orange County).
Online voting is now open for this year’s awards, which cannily distributes both Fans’ Choice and Editors’ Choice honors so that no one goes home a loser.
Not only that, but Hillsborough County’s NightMoves has also prevented the polling irregularities that plagued the 2000 presidential election by incorporating an overvote-safe IP address tracker.
