“Chloe’s Column”: Not a movie about transvestites like I first thought

The beautiful Brit Paige Ashley and London studio JoyBear team up to challenge the overwhelming evidence that female sex columnists are lousy at sex.

Chloe (Paige Ashley) is an entertainment columnist who knows a thing or two about celebrities and starfuckery.

“When you fuck a celebrity, you are not fucking the person, but the image,” she says.

But wait! Don’t go anywhere. “Chloe’s Column: Fuck Fame” is a well-produced feature that is even more satisfying for its non-Porn Valley locations and talent, and we are not stuck in a studio, either: we actually see London, cars driving on the wrong side of the road, and even a lorry.

Wicked is distributing “Chloe’s Column” in the U.S., and it’s notable that Wicked also released the intriguing Danish sort-of porn “All About Anna” back in 2006, as well as the Australian/Dutch lesbo-musings of Abby Winters. I hope this is a moneymaker for them, as porn shot outside of America is always interesting to watch.

Chloe and her media whore friends fuck in various houses in London, including the one used in several of Gazzman’s movies as well as “The King’s Speech,” leading me to wonder when I’m going to get to see porn filmed in “The Amityville Horror” house.

“Chloe’s Column,” in terms of being a couples’ film, can teach American purveyors of that craft a thing or two. The actors speak English plausibly, for one, and yet don’t seem to be trying too hard. I was sad to see an American-style tramp-stamp on Ashley, feeling that her country was poorly repaid for giving us Shakespeare and The Beatles, but everything around it looked great.
