April O’Neil and Dani Daniels are having some Girl Time at the latter’s home. They haven’t seen each other in “forever” and are celebrating their reunion with mimosas.

“Did you make them?” O’Neil says. Who else would have fucking made them?

But you have to understand that there is a dance these two must do, in which both pretend to have arrived organically at their decision to fuck, even as they drink on Daniels’ bed, even as O’Neil creates an opportunistic champagne stain on her cute new bra, even as the giggling gets more and more forced.

It is fascinating; fascinating what these women do to save face before sucking it.

But suck face they do, and it’s such a goddamn relief, as the tension was unbearable.

Into their interlude walks Erik Everhard, trailing a rolling suitcase. He regards the two for a moment and, in an angle that instantly ups the stakes in this scene, they regard him.

Then Daniels and O’Neil begin performing for Everhard, until finally he has to get in there.

Not only is it very satisfying to look at O’Neil and Daniels, but the staginess of their girl/girl flirting makes their performance for Everhard believable. You might say that that is the default setting for any scene of this type, but so what? It’s nice to every so often see standard issue porny behavior set up in such a way that it seems credible.
