It turns out this movie was not about the men who make their living off the backs of their hard-working porn star girlfriends, but instead about women who fuck in heels. Which is every woman in just about every porn movie ever made. But “Heels And Whores” is a much better title than “Girls Who Fuck on Camera for Money.” My mistake.

Director Kendo has crafted quite an artfully sinister movie featuring thoughtfully-composed images of hardcore sex. Viewers should be warned however, that, like those of Michael Ninn, Kendo’s images are hardcore erotica stills come to life, and the composition and editing lend themselves more to the fully clothed leafing through coffeetable books in the lobby of a groovy dentist than to quickly rubbing one out.
“Heels And Whores” is not the feel good movie of the summer, unless you are a member of the Erotica Wing of the Gestapo. But it is true to the fetish of lingerie and footwear trumping the individual wearing them. Rarely does the camera focus for an extended period of time on the face of a performer. Instead we are treated to cross-sections of her parts and the flimsy or evil things she chose to drape them with that day.
Nor would I want “Heels And Whores” to be the first pornography an impressionable (meaning, of course, just turned 18) young person saw; that might create a monster.
Rather, “Heels And Whores” is the perfect background movie to throw on during your annual Adrian Lyne theme party; there’s not a lot of love in this movie, but there sure is a lot of angry, stylized fucking. And shoes.
